I installed Far Cry 3, I go to play Far Cry 3 expecting a game and instead pops up this Uplay crap.

Epic fail. Ubisoft, please tell me how to JUST install Far Cry 3, ONLY Far Cry 3, and NOTHING AT ALL except Far Cry 3.

I dont give a sht how good a game is, if it means installing ANYTHING other than JUST the game, I WILL NOT BUY IT.

If this isnt fixed Ill ask for a refund and just pirate all future Ubisoft games, see how that works holes.

It automatically forces all patches and updates on you, and doesnt let you play until you fully install them.

Out of the two weeks I have had FC3, I think it has granted me permission to play around 4 days.

All you are doing is punishing the people who actually still buy your games for not pirating them.

I believe in paying for a game which I like and which Ive spent many hours on.

I believe those who spent likely thousands of hours developing the game should be fairly compensated.

What Im not happy with is all the copy protection schemes in the game which make it a pain for legitimate customers to use.

If I want to do multiplayer, only THEN connect to Ubi servers.

Dont worry,im pretty sure at this failure rate,the pirated to original ratio will keep increasing every day So in the end,noone will buy UBIs games,and if you pirate it you will be able to play with everyone YAYY.

I played through the entire game and am currently going through it a second time, and never once connected to Uplay when launching the game, though I think it will phone home just to check for any new updates even when set to OFFLINE mode.
